Required Client Due Diligence
We are required by law to identify our clients, the representatives and the ultimate beneficial owner(s) of our clients. This obligation follows from the Legal Profession Regulation (Verordening op de Advocatuur) and from the Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing (Prevention) Act (Wet ter voorkoming van witwassen en financieren van terrorisme). We cannot accept any assignment or commence with our services prior to having received the necessary information and documentation to complete our Client Due Diligence process.
